Today I’ve added images to the Bandera and Bounty labels, and their subsidiary labels.

Images have been added for the Avant discography and Per Notini sent me more Apollo scans (236, 292, 293, 299, 300 and 301) – all there for you to see! I also added details for the Gospel Grooves #1 CD-r.

John Boija sent me scans of all Sun‘s black gospel releases (78’s and 45’s) and they’re all on display now. Per Notini sent me more Apollo (208, 220, 265, 284, 287) and Aladdin (2016) scans and these can be admired as well.

The Atlantic and the Atomic-H labels are done (for now). Images of an original copy of Sun 213 (Jones Brothers) have been added.

This Sunday I added scans and info for 3 Atlantic LP’s: 011 (Mighty Clouds of Joy), 016 (Stars of Virginia) and 018 (Gloria Griffin).

Another day of scanning; I finished the Ark discography today and I worked on Atlantic; all 45/78rpm scans are done and also a couple of LP’s. The remaining LP’s will follow soon.

Today I’ve added a Sun Records discography. Only 4 gospel records were released during the ‘original’ Sun years (1952-68). Other than than I’ve added info and scans for the following LP’s: Checker LP 10011, Checker LP 10012, Gospel Recording Co. LP 1364 and Peacock LP 100. Finally, there were some corrections made to the Apollo discography and second scans were added for #286 and 298.

Today I’ve added 4 more LP’s to the Apollo discography (479, 486, 1001 & 1002 – all by Mahalia Jackson) plus I added a Lloyds discography. Lloyds was a subsidiary label of Apollo and I had to list two Lloyd releases for some Mahalia Jackson albums, so I figured I could as well add the label to the website (7 gospel releases only).

I’ve added images and info on two LP’s; Apollo LP 482 by Mahalia Jackson and Gotham LP 1, a Christmas compilation LP.

Today I’ve added a discography for the Aristocrat label. This label existed for only a few years (1947-50) after which the name was changed to Chess. Some 6 or 7 gospel 78’s were released on Aristocrat. Other than that I’ve added scans for the Arctic and Ark labels. Arctic has been finished, Ark not yet.
