Note:
- The Chosen Gospel Singers recorded for Specialty (1952-55) and for Nashboro (1955-63), after which the group reformed to the Gospel Keynotes. I’m not sure from when this photograph is, but I’m guessing it’s from their Specialty days (or earlier?) as these gents seem to be pretty young. On the photo used for Specialty CD 7014 (“The Lifeboat”) they seem a little older. Who knows, maybe that photo was actually from their Nashboro days…
