- This LP was recorded during three sessions in 1966 and 1967. The back cover only lists 1967, but according to the Gospel Discography (Laughton/Hayes) the Chess files show two dates in 1966 and one in 1967.
- The A-side and B2 feature Dorothy Best on vocals (solo singing), B1, B3 and B5 feature Dorothy Best and her husband Rev. National (Nathaniel?) Best. Their children can be heard on B4, with Little Nathaniel (5 years) on lead vocals.
