  • Checker 5045 was first released on J-V-B 47 (1956) and Checker 861 (1957). Checker 5045 was drawn from the reissue of Checker LP 10009. The original album was titled “Songs Of Faith”, the reissue “The Gospel Soul Of Aretha Franklin”. The labels of Checker 5045 refer to the latter.
